Crispy Cajun Shrimp Penne

Crispy Cajun Shrimp Penne

It’s just one of those drool-worthy meals, that will have you dreaming for your next dish.


Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Fettucine (or Penne)

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • 15 shrimp

  • 1 tablespoon of cajun spice

  • 2 tablespoons of flour

  • 1 cup of vegetable broth

  • 1 cup of heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated


INSTRUCTIONS
:​

  1. Cook pasta until soft but slightly hard still

  2. Clean shrimp and season with 1 tablespoon of cajun spice. Drizzle flour over shrimp and toss in a bowl to ensure each side is covered with flour.

  3. Add butter and olive oil to deep skillet on high heat. Add shrimp and cook until crisp (approximately 2 minutes). Remove and set aside.

  4. Add broth and heavy cream to skillet. Season with cajun spice. Cook until sauce thickens from heavy cream and parmesan cheese – whisk.

  5. Add pasta and shrimp to sauce. Toss and serve!
