CRISPY CAJUN SHRIMP PENNE
It’s just one of those drool-worthy meals, that will have you dreaming for your next dish.
Fettucine (or Penne)
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of cajun spice
2 tablespoons of flour
1 cup of vegetable broth
1 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup parmesan, grated
Cook pasta until soft but slightly hard still.
Clean shrimp and season with 1 tablespoon of cajun spice.
Drizzle flour over shrimp and toss in a bowl to ensure each side is covered with flour.
Add butter and olive oil to deep skillet on high heat. Add shrimp and cook until crisp (approximately 2 minutes). Remove and set aside.
Add broth and heavy cream to skillet. Season with cajun spice. Cook until sauce thickens from heavy cream and parmesan cheese – whisk.
Add pasta and shrimp to sauce. Toss and serve!
